Selecting Quality Web Hosting
"The page
cannot be displayed"
Have you ever encountered this message while surfing the net? Of course you
have. We all have. Think it can't happen to you? Think again.
If you're hosting your business on one of the free
hosting services, you're literally placing your entire business in the hands
of a complete stranger.
Free hosting
services don't need to
have a reason to shut your site down. You may get up one morning, try
to access your site and instead of your
site loading, this message will appear,
"The page cannot be displayed" There
goes all of your hard work, your web
site, your traffic, your search engine
positioning, your customers, all gone.
Free hosting services aren't interested
in your business or how hard you've
worked to design your web site and
create a steady stream of traffic.
Their main concern is their business.
That's why they're doing it. They display
banner ads on every site they host. Pop
up ads are not only irritating, but they
make your site appear to be
unprofessional.
In addition,
many Search Engines will
not allow free host URLs to be listed.
If you're serious about your business
and you have a sincere desire to
succeed, having your own domain name
is a must. It's not a luxury; it's a
necessity. Businesses using the free
services are not taken seriously.
Having
your own domain name is just as
important if not more important than a
professional looking web site. They go
hand-in-hand.

Selecting
Your Web Page Host
When selecting a professional web host your first consideration should be
the company. Check out their background. Talk to some of their customers and
ask them if they've been satisfied with their service.
How many customers do they serve?
What is their uptime percentage?
Do they require you to make payments
in advance?
Do they charge set up fees?
How is their customer support?
Do they offer fast connections?
Do they offer shopping cart software
to process your orders?
Can you upgrade free of charge?
Web hosting prices vary greatly. When selecting your host, make sure you're
getting exactly what you're paying for. Keep in mind, a lower monthly rate
will not benefit you if your site is down a lot, slow, or customer service
is poor.
Criteria for selecting web
hosting
Selecting a professional web host is a very important decision. Make sure
you do your homework and ensure the host you select offers exactly what you
need.
1.Your own domain name (www.yourname.com)

3.
Fast, low overhead, Multi-T3 access
4.

Statistics on visits to your site
Free web hosts are great for hosting
a personal web site, but not
recommended for a business site. If
you're really serious about your
business and want to establish your
Internet presence, we highly
recommend
our plans. They provide
you with exactly what you need to
develop a profitable Internet business
at a very reasonable price.

Quickstart Wizard - This is what you'll see the first time
you log-in to Soholaunch
Have you ever noticed that it's easier to edit and refine
something that already exists than to create something
entirely from scratch? Well, this is the idea behind the
Quickstart Wizard — it gives you a foundation to work
from. In just a few clicks, you'll have a website. This
way, you start out with "OK, I have a website. What do I
want to change about it?" instead of "Ok, I have a blank
white screen...What do I do now?"
If you’ve never used Soholaunch Pro Edition before, and
especially if you’ve never built a website at all before,
this is a wonderfully fast and natural way to get into the
swing of things.
QuickStart Wizard: Start

Already
know your way around the product? Hit the "Skip Wizard"
button.
Displays an overview of the each of the QuickStart Wizard's
4 steps
Step 1: Choose a template for your website.
Step 2: Choose some pages that you would like on your
website.
Step 3: Enter your Site Title and Email Address.
Step 4: Preview & Edit your page content!
Step
1: Select Website Template

Choose
from over 100 template designs
Browse and select by screenshot
Filter by 20 different categories (Art, Business, Neutral,
etc.)
This choice doesn't have to be permanent: Swap your
site-wide template on the fly at any time via the Template
Manager.
Step 2
: Select Website Pages

Choose as
many as you'd like from list of common page names
Automatically creates selected pages
Pre-formatted content placed on each page
Menu navigation system will be automatically setup using the
pages you pick.
Step 3
: Enter your Web Site Information

Choose a
title for your website (will typically display across the
top of your site in large text). You can always change this
later via the Template Manager.
Enter a primary contact email address
As an example of where this is used: If you choose to create
a "Contact Us" page in Step 2 of the QuickStart Wizard, a
standard contact form will be placed on that page and set to
send data collected when a visitor submits the form to the
email address you specify here.
Step
4: Finished! Start by viewing your website to see what
you've already built, then use the various feature modules
to edit your content and add other elements like online
shopping, etc.

You will be able to rename and/or delete any or all of the
pages created by the QuickStart Wizard, and you can add new
pages at any time.
All pre-formatted content is completely editable (and
delete-able) via the Page Editor, just as if you'd typed it
all in yourself.
You will have full control (via the Auto Menu System) over
the navigation menu created by the QuickStart Wizard.
All P.C.S. accounts include the base version
of Soholaunch Pro Edion free of charge. You also get
a 15-day free trial of the full version. This means that
after you install Soholaunch on your website (see above for
instructions), you can try the full version free for
15-days. After that, the advanced features like the Shopping
Cart, Member Logins, etc. will be disabled, but you can keep
using the basic features forever for free. If you
want to enable those advanced features again, you can do so
instantly by purchasing a license from Soholaunch.com.
Anything you built using advanced features during your
15-day free trial will be untouched and waiting for you
after you upgrade.
Don't
manage websites the hard way!
